New Zealand: Auckland region, Tongariro, North Nelson, Punakaiki (Collyer, 1964; 1982); Australia: Flinders Island, Tasmania, Victoria (Schicha, 1980; 1987).
Notes
In New Zealand N. cottieri was collected from Cassinia sp., Hebe sp., Astelia sp., thistle, and moss (Collyer, 1964; 1982). In Australia this species was collected from strawberries, hops, grass, white clover, apple, and thistle (Schicha, 1987).
