Distribution and Habitat

Harvey to Albany, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands. The species is the only member of Caladenia huegelii complex to grow in karri forest.

Description

A late flowering species 300–600 mm high with a hairy leaf 100–250 mm long by 5–10 mm wide and up to three variably red, green, yellow and white flowers 40–80 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from most members of the complex by its clubbed petals.
