Diagnostic summary

  • What you see on plants

- general pale colour throughout the plant

- veins may be slightly paler than the interveinal tissue .

- purple pigmentation may develop on the youngest and the oldest leaves, especially petioles, margins and tips of lobes.

  • Easily leached: deficiencies are common on light-textured soils with high rainfall.
